Easily the best diving trip I've been on, 6 days on a live aboard, 4 dives a day, impeccable service, good company and just all round chill vibes! I also got my advance diving license.

There were a few dives that let us down, strong current and bad visibility but overall the visibility of the whole trip was great, we did expect to see some big fish (mantas and whale sharks) but they didn't want to show up either, they were having too much fun in the Andaman Ocean back in Thailand.

We had one of Thailand's top photographer onboard with us (Waran Rbj Suwanno) he was invited as a guest "lecturer" who gave us a few workshops on underwater photography. tell you what, I learnt quite a lot despite the lack of camera gear I had. Underwater photography requires quite expensive gear, the housing that is double the price of your DSLR, strobes that are a few grand each and accessories. All the while I had a Canon Powershot G11 with 10 megapixel and a small built in flash, as a photographer I had to adapt my style of shooting to make do with what I have, here are some photos from the trip.
