Steelwool has allowed both professional and amature photographer to explore a new world of long exposure photography. 

 

To put it simple, steelwool is pretty self explanatory.

 

The way I made the wool sparks like it does in the photos above are

 

: a box of steelwool

: an egg wisk

: rip 30cm of wool and puff it out

: wrap the wool around the egg wisk

: light the wool on fire and spin

: enjoy the light show
