Upon arrival in Mt Isa we were eager to get out and start our project based on poverty, an assignment for The Wesley Mission in order to raise awareness for anti poverty week. 
We weren't so sure where to start but we know that the river bed is well known of its various camp sites for the aboriginal people. Before we started we were very sceptical as to how we should approach the river bed. We decided that meeting a local and get that person to be our "tour guide" 
A lady named Denise we met, she wasn't sober at the time but we spent time with her and she agreed on taking us along the river bed and show us the camp-sites.
